During our last visit to Tsavo East, we have witnessed a rare scene, even if we were a bit far. We were told there was a dead elephant, a hundred meters away from one of the park' tracks. While looking for it, we saw a young lion resting under a tree besides the track. But the unusual scene I was talking about is even more exceptional. When we located the dead elephant, using our binoculars, we realised a lion was eating it: it is highly unusual to see the lion tear pieces of white flesh off that dead body. I let you see for yourselves.
